Truth

The elusive horizon we chase but never quite reach.

What is Truth? Is it a set of objective facts waiting to be discovered, or is it a dynamic relationship between the knower and the known?

We live in an era of “post-truth,” where narratives compete for dominance and facts are often instrumentalized. But beneath the noise of political and social discourse, the philosophical question of truth remains.

There is the truth of correspondence—does the map match the territory? There is the truth of coherence—does the story hold together? And there is the truth of pragmatism—does it work?

But perhaps the deepest truth is experiential. The truth that is felt in the bones. The truth of suffering, of love, of beauty. These are not propositions to be proven, but realities to be lived.

To seek truth is to be willing to be wrong. It is to hold our convictions lightly and to remain open to the ever-unfolding mystery of existence. It is a path of humility, not certainty.
